Enjoy alpine flowers and valleys, then attempt Dafeng (5,025 m) after acclimatisation. A separate guided foothill programme can be arranged for non-climbers; they cannot share the climbing group’s guide.

Travel to Siguniang town
Travel to the mountain town with breaks and rest on arrival.

Acclimatisation walk
Take a short walk on an open valley trail and turn back according to how you feel.

Flowers and equipment checks
Walk gently, then check gear, weather and turnaround times with the mountain guide. Cancel the ascent if acclimatisation is inadequate.

To Dafeng base camp
After access and registration checks, follow the approved route with a mountain guide. Confirm camp, baggage and meal arrangements beforehand.

Conditional summit attempt and descent
Attempt the summit only if weather, snow, fitness and guide assessment allow. Observe turnaround times and descend. Non-climbers follow their separately guided programme.

Return to Chengdu with rest stops and schedule onward flights for the next day or later.
