Five commitments to your journey
01Speak directly with Japanese-speaking Tibetan staff
Local Tibetan staff can discuss your wishes directly in Japanese, from places and pace to the smallest concerns. We take time to understand each request and help bridge language and cultural differences when designing your journey.
02A prompt first proposal
We send an initial itinerary and quotation by the morning of the second day after receiving your enquiry, clearly identifying arrangements that still need confirmation.
03Revise the plan until it works for you
After the first proposal, tell us what you would like to change about destinations, duration, hotels, meals or transport. We revise the itinerary and quote as often as needed to address your requests.
04No pressure to book
You are welcome to enquire or compare proposals without committing. We respect your decision and do not pressure you to book or persist with unwanted sales approaches.
05Free itinerary design and quotations
Itinerary design and quotations are free. We review local arrangements and make service details clear to propose a journey that fits your budget. Changes or cancellations after booking follow the terms provided beforehand.
Who this suits
For flexible dates, a private family or friends’ group, deeper cultural visits or unhurried photography. We discuss walking, altitude, driving and rest rather than judging suitability by age alone.
What private travel means
A pre-arranged journey without sharing the party with other travellers; solo enquiries are welcome. Documents, guides and transport depend on destination and traveller requirements. Private travel does not imply unrestricted independent movement where an approved arrangement is required.
Choose your departure date
There are no fixed departures. Tell us your preferred dates and length of stay; we check season, roads, opening conditions, availability and preparation time before proposing arrangements.
Start with a reference journey
A clear day-by-day plan
Your itinerary lists daily visits, transport, overnight locations and meal inclusions. Long drives and high-altitude nights are planned around rest and wellbeing; visit order and time depend on reservations and local conditions.
Accommodation, meals and transport
Discuss hotel levels to suit your budget in cities. Remote Everest and Ngari areas may require local hotels or basic lodging; confirm hot water, heating and private bathrooms. Vehicles suit party size and luggage; discuss dietary needs and guide language before booking.
Private-group supplements
Solo, family and friends’ private departures require a supplement to the listed tour price. Party size, dedicated transport, guide, hotels, season and service scope determine the written quote. Costs already included in a private quote are not charged twice.
Confirm inclusions item by item
Confirm transfers, private vehicle, guide, hotels, meals, admissions, scenic transport and document handling separately. Only the written itinerary and quote define inclusions. Single rooms, extra nights and baggage transport are checked separately.
Return flights are excluded
Return flights between your origin and local meeting and departure points are excluded. Domestic flights and trains are extra except for sectors explicitly included in the written quote. Check connections before buying tickets.
Travel with respect
Follow local guidance at temples and prayer sites, and ask before photographing people. Do not disrupt daily life for photographs or experiences or enter closed areas.
