Snowland Travel agency lead · Tibetan tourism professional
I am a Tibetan tourism professional with 20 years of experience working in Tibet. To me, travel means more than reaching a landmark: it is an opportunity to understand the people, history, culture and faith of this land. We hope visitors arrive with curiosity and leave with understanding and respect.
I value clear communication, realistic daily routes and time to rest, as well as respectful monastery visits and encounters with local people. For Lhasa, the Qinghai–Tibet Railway, Everest, Kailash or Tibetan cultural regions such as Amdo, we start with your interests and available time, then confirm transport, stays, guides and required documents as a team.
Compassion in our hearts. Culture in our souls. History as our foundation.Discuss your journey with us →
You need more than an attractive itinerary: you need a team to work through the route, transport, stays, guiding and travel documents. Every connection matters in the Tibetan regions—from rest and long driving days to monastery visits and overnight stops. We take time to discuss those details before you travel.
Our agency lead’s 20 years in Tibet tourism inform the balance of driving, altitude, seasons and rest. We consider the quality and practicality of each day, not just the number of stops.
Monasteries and sacred sites are more than photographic backdrops. Our Tibetan guides introduce history, faith, etiquette and everyday life from their own cultural perspective.
Japanese, English, French and Korean guiding can be arranged by route and date. We confirm language along with the itinerary and discuss your interests, dietary needs and walking preferences clearly.
Plan Lhasa culture, the Qinghai–Tibet Railway, Everest, Kailash or Amdo around your interests and time. The proposal sets out transfers, vehicles, hotels, guiding and visits; cross-region access is checked separately.

Our story and purpose

A local perspective

Shape your journey together
Snowland Travel grew from a Tibetan love for the history and culture of this land. We want a journey to offer more than a sequence of sights: time to understand people, faith, architecture and daily life.
Land of Snow speaks of the plateau and its mountain landscapes. Journeys of the Heart speaks of encounters, understanding and memories. Our mountain, prayer-flag and golden-arc logo brings these ideas together.
Our approach starts with local cultural understanding. Guide language, individual team members and their service dates are confirmed for each itinerary. We do not present another operator’s guides as our own staff.
We aim to make Tibetan history and living culture accessible through thoughtful travel. We respect places of worship, seek consent for photographs and encourage care for local landscapes and communities.
卓玛拉 · Snowland Travel
Our starting point is a love for Tibetan history and culture. We want visitors to understand why places matter to the people who live here.
Make room for monastery architecture, village walks, tea and conversation. Visits to homes or workshops are arranged only with consent and prior confirmation.
Discuss a scheduled group or private itinerary around your dates, interests and preferred pace. Photography and cultural study may call for longer stops.
We aim to explain daily visits, transport, accommodation, meals and exclusions before you book. Unconfirmed arrangements remain clearly identified.
Plan Lhasa, the railway, Everest, Ngari and cultural journeys around your interests and available time.
Coordinate route planning, transport, hotels and guide requirements, with each service specified before booking.
Review document needs for your planned journey and confirm current requirements and timing.

Review documents for your nationality, departure point and route, and coordinate the application process. Requirements, timing and approval remain subject to the authorities.
Compare rail and flight connections around your city, dates and budget. Confirm schedules, availability, fares and change conditions before ticketing.
Discuss hotels, room types and stays around your preferences and budget, with advance explanation of conditions in remote areas.
