DAY 03

Yamdrok and Gyantse to Shigatse

Planned overnight
Shigatse

DAY 04

Gawula, Rongbuk and Everest viewpoints

Travel through the Tingri area to authorised Gawula viewpoints and the permitted Rongbuk/Everest visitor area. Mountain visibility depends on weather. The visitor area differs from expedition base camp; mountaineering access is not included. Confirm available basic accommodation and overnight altitude before booking.

Planned overnight
Basic Everest-area lodging, with a lower overnight alternative if needed
Meals
Confirm included breakfast, lunch and dinner in the written quote
DAY 05

Everest area to Shigatse and Namling

If weather and health permit, take a short morning mountain view, then return towards Shigatse and Namling. Prioritise the long transfer over extra sightseeing. Tashilhunpo is optional only if time allows; stay in Shigatse and extend the route if continuing would be unsuitable.

DAY 06

Namling, Siling Tso and Bange

Available accommodation around Bange

DAY 08

Bange to Lhasa

Return to Lhasa on the approved road, allowing breaks and time for delays. Avoid a tight same-day flight or train connection after this plateau drive. Add a final Lhasa night and next-day transfer separately if needed; extra viewpoint stops depend on conditions.

Planned overnight
Final Lhasa night to be agreed separately
