DAY 2
Chengdu, Kangding and Xinduqiao
Travel via Kangding into western Sichuan with breaks, then rest in Xinduqiao.
Overnight: Xinduqiao.
DAY 3
Xinduqiao, Litang and Batang
Continue via Litang to Batang with scenic breaks where permitted and no demanding extra walks.
Overnight: Batang.
DAY 4
Batang, Markam and Zogang
Follow the road into eastern Tibet, allowing time for required checks and mountain-road travel to Zogang.
Overnight: Zogang.
DAY 5
Zogang, Bangda and Baxoi
Travel via Bangda to Baxoi, with stops chosen according to road safety and local requirements.
Overnight: Baxoi.
DAY 6
Baxoi, Ranwu Lake and Bomi
Pause at open Ranwu Lake viewpoints, then continue to Bomi. Visibility depends on weather.

DAY 7
Bomi, Lulang and Nyingchi
Travel via Lulang to Nyingchi, allowing safe scenic stops and time for lunch.

DAY 8
Nyingchi to Lhasa
Drive from Nyingchi to Lhasa with breaks, then settle into the hotel before city visits.

DAY 9
Lhasa buffer and cultural time

Potala Palace, park and Barkhor

DAY 11
Drepung and Sera monasteries

Lhasa, Yamdrok, Gyantse and Shigatse
Leave early for permitted Yamdrok viewpoints, then continue via Gyantse to Shigatse with breaks. A Pelkor Chode visit depends on arrival time and opening conditions. This is a long driving day, so arrival and rest take priority.

DAY 13
Tashilhunpo and return to Lhasa
Visit Tashilhunpo to explore Tsang’s monastic culture and architecture. Drive back to Lhasa with lunch and rest stops. Settle into the hotel with time to rest or prepare for the next stage.

DAY 14
Jokhang, Barkhor and a tea house
Visit Jokhang under its booking and access arrangements, then walk Barkhor while learning about pilgrimage etiquette. Pause at a tea house in the afternoon to discuss local food and daily life. Food and drink inclusions are specified in the quote.

DAY 15
Depart Lhasa
